It presents the services and programmes provided by the department: access to quality, comprehensive, family-centered preventive, primary care and specialty services for pre-conceptual and pregnant women, infants, children, adolescents, and children with special health care needs, and their families, especially those with low incomes or limited access to care, priority needs, Kansas Maternal and Child Health 2000-2005, joint States needs assessment, State systems development initiative, oral health initiative,assurance, children and families services, children's developmental services, nutrition and WIC services, children with special health care needs.
