The SGO is a non-profit, international organization made up of obstetricians and gynecologists specializing in gynecologic oncology. The main purpose of the Society are: to improve the care of patients with gynecologic cancer; to advance knowledge and raise standards of practice and to encourage research in gynecologic oncology; to cooperate with other individuals and organizations interested in oncology and related fields.
