AA&MDSIF serves as a resource for patient assistance, advocacy, and support; provides educational materials and medical information; and supports research to find effective treatments for Aplastic Anemia (AA), Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS), and related bone marrow diseases. Offers the Patient Information Resources (PIR) department to research patient questions and provide information from reputable sources or referral as needed. An AA&MDSIF Medical Board, comprised of distinguished medical experts who not only advise the Foundation on all matters of research funding and educational materials, but assist in patient inquiries.
