Mothers Supporting Daughters with Breast Cancer

MSDBC is a national nonprofit organization co-founded by a mother(Charmayne Dierker) and her daughter (Lillie Shockney) in March 1995. The support services provided by this organization are free and are designed to help mothers who have daughters battling breast cancer. There is power in information and by having information the patient's mother is better prepared about what to expect and how to help her daughter and herself cope with each phase of care.
