The FECS aims to promote and co-ordinate collaboration between European societies active in different fields of cancer research, prevention and treatment. The main FECS activities are: organise a congress - the EUROPEAN CANCER CONFERENCE - organise other congresses on clinical and experimental oncology and cancer nursing; be involved in the organisation of education and training in oncology such as Continuing Medical Education in Oncology in Europe.
