FAO has made a report available on "Agriculture towards 2015/2030", which forecasts global trends in food, nutrition and agriculture over the next 30 years.

Objective:
The main focus of this report is on the long-term food security outlook for developing countries and on longer-term developments in natural resource use in agriculture. Both these issues are backed up with a full quantitative analysis for the developing countries and a somewhat simplified one for the developed countries.
