Catalyzing New International Collaborations

http://www.nsf.gov/funding/pgm_summ.jsp?pims_id=12815

Proposals should describe U.S. participation in new international collaborations via activities including, but not limited to: planning visits, small workshops, initial data gathering activities, and the development of research coordination networks. The community is invited to propose innovative mechanisms and strategies for catalyzing new international collaborations to the stage that competitive research and education proposals can be submitted to relevant NSF programs for on-going support of the project. Any well-justified activity that fulfills the goals of the program will be considered.
