Objective: The Programme Against African Trypanosomiasis (PAAT) was created in order to harmonize and coordinate the activities of the four mandated international organizations (AU, FAO, IAEA, WHO) in relation to tsetse, trypanosomiasis and sustainable agriculture and enhance international assistance to tsetse affected countries.
